Ioannis Emmanouil

Professor Ioannis Emmanouil holds a BSc. in Mathematics from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He graduated with 1st class honours on 1989. He continued my studies in mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley and received a PhD on 1994.
He worked at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor as a T.H. Hildebrandt Research Assistant Professor (1994-97) and the Institut des Hautes Etudes Scientifiques in Bures-sur-Yvette (1997-99). Since 2012 he is a Professor at the Department of Mathematics of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
He has written numerous research papers in Algebra, as well as a monograph published by Springer. He has been invited to lecture in Universities and participate to conferences in Europe and USA. He has also been awarded a prize by the Academy of Athens.
